Trivia Fact: Leader of Super Junior; his name change from Park Jungsu to a stage name was explained on "Happy Together Friends" - he wanted a name like Kangta, Hyesung or Junjin, thus he decided to change his name to Leeteuk (or Eeteuk), which means "special", because he is a "special guy". Rumours had it that Park Jungsu had a crush on Jang Nara for three years, but it was proven to be fake. He has MCed for M!Countdown with Kangin and Shindong. Said to be the member with the most interest in the opposite sex. Leeteuk got lasik (laser eye surgery), now he wears lensless glasses for fashion. Before debut he was very close to Xiahjunsu and eunhyuk. So one day after training, eeteuk being the oldest decided to treat the both of them to buns. However he only had money for 2,so he thought maybe they 3 can share 2 buns.So when the train was there, eunhyuk and junsu said hyung goodbye took the buns and board the train, leaving eeteuk staring back at them blankly. He thought that he could share but they left instead.

In early 2000, Park Jung-su was scouted by a talent agent in Myeongdong. He was asked to audition for the Starlight Casting System 2000, which soon signed him into SM Entertainment that same year. Park made an extremely brief cameo appearance in the MBC Korean drama All About Eve in 2000 and was also a model for Pepsi. He was then put into a five-member boy band along with his future Super Junior bandmate, Donghae by his talent agency before this idea was dropped. Some of the names for this group were OK, Pricor and Smile. After he was put in Super Junior, Park wanted a stage name similar to Kangta and thus chose the name Leeteuk. Teuk, which means "special."

* On November 6, 2005, Leeteuk as a part of Super Junior officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs performing the group's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Being the oldest of the group, Leeteuk was chosen to be the leader of Super Junior, leading and guiding the group in media interviews and schedules. Since the debut of Super Junior, Leeteuk has been a regular MC for M.NET's M!Countdown along with Super Junior members Kang-In and Shindong. However, since late 2006, Eunhyuk replaced Kang-In's position. Along with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk is also the DJ for KBS's Super Junior Kiss the Radio since August 21, 2006. Starting December 2007, Leeteuk became the host of his own show, Leeteuk's Love Fighter, a variety show of Leeteuk helping to solve troubled couples' problems.

* In early 2007, SM Entertainment placed Leeteuk in a new six-piece subgroup of Super Junior, Super Junior-T. Different from Super Junior's usual urban music style, the group specializes in singing modernized versions of trot, an old style of Korean pop music. On February 25, 2007, Super Junior-T debuted on Popular Songs with their title song, "Rokkugo!!!". Super Junior-T released their first single, "Rokkugo!!!" on February 23, 2007, ultimately selling 45,998 units by the end of the year, ranked as the sixteenth best-selling album of the year.

* Leeteuk became seriously injured in a car accident at the morning of April 19, 2007 when returning home after a recording of Super Junior Kiss the Radio. Along with Leeteuk, fellow members Shindong, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, and two managers also became victims. Although Shindong and Eunhyuk suffered minor injuries, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun sustained more serious injuries, which required for the two be kept in the hospital for several more months. Leeteuk had glass shards embedded into his back and above his eyes and had a successful surgery of 170 stitches in removing most of them. Leeteuk was discharged out of the hospital on April 30, 2007. However, Leeteuk may still need further surgeries to remove or minimize the scars. Due to Leeteuk's fast recovery, he was in time to do a last-minute performance in Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys (2007), playing the panda, who was originally played by Ryeowook.

He was advised to stop all activities for a period of twelve weeks.[3] He was released from the hospital on September 13, 2006 and received outpatient care. He returned to the hospital to have a second surgery to remove some of the iron rods in his leg on October 10, 2006. Although originally auditioned to be an actor, he was placed under many all-boy project groups, including the rumored group Four Seasons, a four member boy band that was to include Kim Heechul, Hero Jaejoong, and U-Know Yunho. However, both U-Know Yunho and Hero Jaejoong soon debuted as members of TVXQ in 2003, leaving Kim Young-woon and Kim Heechul to join Super Junior two years after. Kim Young-woon decided to use the stage name Kang-In, which is translated to "strong person," to show his strength as an entertainer.

On November 6, 2005, Kang-In as a member of Super Junior, officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs, performing Super Junior's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Five days later, Kang-in became the MC of M.NET's M!Countdown along with Leeteuk and Shindong. The three members remained together as the hosts throughout their career until Kang-In was replaced by Eunhyuk due to his busy schedule for hosting MBC's Good Friend Radio and Show! Music Core. He was also a former DJ for Reckless Radio, but is now replaced by bandmate Sungmin and Sunny of Girls' Generation. He is currently an active DJ for MBC's Good Friend Radio with Cho Jung-rin. To solve questions about the human body, the group performs experiments with their own bodies to answer the questions.

In February 2007, Kang-In was placed in the six-piece Super Junior-T, the second sub-unit in Super Junior. Although active in both singing and hosting, Kang-In continuously makes guest appearances in variety shows, such as Star Golden Bell and KBS's Girls Talk. Being active in television, Kang-In earns the highest salary in Super Junior.[2]
MBC controversy

A time-slot dispute occurred between SM Entertainment and MBC when SM insisted to have Kang-In stay on SBS's Explorers of the Human Body instead of MBC's Sunday Sunday Night Dong-An Club where Kang-In was a regular host. MBC decided to temporarily ban Super Junior from appearing in any future performances on MBC.[3] Kang-In was replaced by T.O.P of Big Bang as the MC of Show! Music Core.[4] Kang-In can also no longer host MBC variety shows Nothing is Impossible and Sunday Sunday Night Dong-An Club until the conflict is resolved.[4] MBC also demanded to receive an apology from SM Entertainment if SM artists should continue to perform on shows hosted by the channel. Kang-In's radio program with MBC, Good Friend Radio continues to air since it is not related to his work conflict.[3] A week later, MBC announced that they invited Super Junior to film an exclusive MBC segment, "Giving Children a New Life" despite their previous decision to ban Super Junior. The entertainment director for MBC claimed that the ban on Super Junior was never official, but
